Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee and manage our quality control processes in accordance with AS9100 standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a robust quality management system, leading a team of quality inspectors, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
This is a critical position that requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive quality management system compliant with AS9100 standards.
Lead and manage a team of quality engineers, specialist and inspectors, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to quality control processes and procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement quality objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Monitor and analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) as necessary.
Oversee the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) processes and certifications, ensuring compliance with customer and industry requirements.
Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to address quality-related concerns and promote continuous improvement.
Drive root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to identify and eliminate process inefficiencies, defects, and non-conformances.
Stay up-to-date with industry advancements, regulations, and best practices related to aerospace quality management.
Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to enhance the quality awareness and skills of employees across the organization.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
Strong knowledge and experience in AS9100 quality management system implementation and maintenance.
Prior experience as a Quality Manager or a similar role within the aerospace industry, preferably in a low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment.
In-depth understanding of CNC machining processes and related quality control methodologies.
Certification as an NDT Level 3 professional with expertise in relevant methods (e.
g.
, liquid penetrant, magnetic particle) is a plus.
Proven experience in leading and managing a team, including performance management and talent development.
Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) techniques and tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with customers and regulatory authorities.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
